Had a fantastic Triplet Records CD launch/celebration tonight at The Orange Lounge.

Theodosii Spassov, Vlatko Stefanovski, and Alek Sekulovski have created a stunning recording of Balkan Jazz. Package design is by Triplet’s award-winning art director Emma Novotny.

The musicians are touring Europe and could not attend tonight’s festivities so I interviewed them earlier this week so they could be at the release virtually. They are fearless improvisers with a rich ensemble chemistry.

A very special thanks to Eli Yordanov who is the international ambassador that brought us all together at a time when people and nations are divided.🙏❤️

Next week this recording is going to Sophia, Bulgaria for another celebration.🥂
